PDV do Brasil is a segment of PDVSA (Petróleos de Venezuela S.A), one of the largest oil companies in the world. The company initiated its operations in Brazil in 2002 with the acquisition of a terminal for storage and commercialization of petroleum-derived fuels and ethanol in Porto Velho, Brazil. In 2003, PDV opened its first service stations under its brand in Pará and began selling fuel to independent stations. Presently, PDV has numerous stations under its brand and serves over 60 clients in Belém and nearby cities. In 2007, the company commenced the commercialization of PDV lubricants in Brazil through a network of distributors covering most Brazilian states, catering to the automotive and industrial segments with a complete line of lubricants developed under the strictest quality standards.
