PCs for People

PCs for People is a non-profit organization founded in 1998, pioneering digital inclusion efforts in the US. The company's mission revolves around democratizing technology access for low-income individuals, families, and people with disabilities, thereby unlocking employment and educational opportunities. With a strong commitment to the communities, they have successfully connected over 300,000 people across all 50 states and Puerto Rico while recycling millions of pounds of electronics. They offer an array of services including free end-of-life IT asset management, certified data sanitization, technology refurbishing, computer distribution, repair, internet service, and technology education. Additionally, they provide businesses with a Secure E-Waste Recycling Service, underwritten by AAA NAID certified data sanitization, no recycling fees, complete asset management audit trail, and overall community and environmental benefits. The latest investment, a grant, was received on 21st July 2022 from The Alliant Credit Union Foundation. With a focus on the IT, Internet, and Sustainability sectors, the organization continues to make significant strides in advancing digital inclusivity and environmental responsibility.
