Partnerships for Forests is a program funded by UK Aid and delivered by Palladium and Systemiq, aiming to catalyze investment in forests and sustainable land use. The program focuses on mobilizing investment into regenerative business models in the land use sector, with the goal of addressing climate change, benefiting people, and protecting biodiversity. Through collaborative action, the program facilitates partnerships between the private sector, communities, and the public sector, working towards a mutual vision with shared risks and benefits. This initiative seeks to broaden the scope of investable opportunities by promoting profitable businesses that protect and restore forests, as well as supporting market-based solutions to transform the global supply chains of key commodities driving land use change - for both people and the planet. The eight-year program is funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), managed by Palladium in partnership with SYSTEMIQ. Currently, it operates in Central, East and West Africa, South East Asia, and Latin America. While the program officially concluded on April 30, 2024, its content remains in the public domain for archival purposes. It's important to note that the program is no longer being extended or actively maintained, with the account not being actively monitored.
