Parkinson Voice Project

Parkinson Voice Project is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 in the United States. Specializing in speech therapy for individuals with Parkinson's and related neurological disorders, its mission is to preserve speech and communication through continuous therapy, research, education, and community awareness. With around 90% of Parkinson's patients at risk of developing speech and swallowing difficulties, the organization offers a comprehensive program that includes education, individual speech therapy (SPEAK OUT!), and the LOUD Crowd Training, which is available online to speech-language pathologists worldwide. Funded entirely through donations and the Pay It Forward concept, Parkinson Voice Project does not bill insurance or charge patients for therapy. Instead, at the end of the treatment, patients are encouraged to make a donation to support the next patient's therapy.
