Outer Cape Health Services

Outer Cape Health Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering healthcare and supportive social services in Cape Cod. With three community health center locations in Provincetown, Wellfleet, and Harwich, as well as pharmacies in Provincetown and Wellfleet, OCHS is committed to promoting the health and well-being of the eight outermost towns of Cape Cod. The organization serves nearly 17,000 patients per year, providing a wide range of services including primary care, specialty care, behavioral health, pharmacy, WIC and insurance enrollment assistance. Affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centers and partnering with Cape Cod Healthcare, OCHS also has strong collaborative relationships with town and community agencies.

Founded in 1987 through the merger of Health Associates of Provincetown and AIM Medical Center in Wellfleet, Outer Cape Health Services has a history of successful growth and expansion. The organization is the single largest non-governmental employer in its service area, employing nearly 200 employees. OCHS plans to continue growing to better serve its patients, with an expanded Harwich Port facility set to open in the fall of 2018 and a renovation of the Wellfleet facility to be completed in the Summer of 2019.
