One Reel

One Reel, founded in 1971, is a non-profit organization dedicated to producing diverse and progressive arts and cultural events in Seattle. With the slogan "Our Stage is Seattle," One Reel has been enriching the lives of Seattle's citizens and visitors for over 50 years. The organization's mission is to fuel Seattle's civic pride through events that foster growth and development in the community and the arts. In line with this, Paul G. Allen Family Foundation and ArtsFund recently made a $25.00K grant investment in April 2023. One Reel's events, which are guided by the city's values of arts, accessibility, and inclusivity, aim to increase participation and opportunities for artists and audiences from all backgrounds. As a result, the organization has become an instrumental contributor to Seattle's artistic landscape, producing iconic and defining cultural experiences that resonate with the city's identity.
