One Nucleus

One Nucleus, with the slogan "Connecting Life Sciences," is a prominent membership organization catering to international life science and healthcare companies. Established in 1997 and formerly known as ERBI, it has evolved into a not-for-profit entity based in Cambridge and London – the heart of Europe’s largest life science and healthcare cluster. The organization boasts over 470 members, including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and diagnostic companies, as well as associated technical and commercial service providers. The merger of two regional life science networks – Cambridge-based ERBI and the London Biotechnology Network – led to the formation of One Nucleus in April 2010, consolidating a commercial, clinical, and academic powerhouse. The strategic positioning in London and Cambridge, home to at least 60% of the UK’s life science industry base, underscores its significance. This union recognizes the Cambridge-London network as an international life science "super cluster." Specializing in the Health Care industry, One Nucleus has a robust presence in the heart of Europe’s leading life science and healthcare hub, providing an invaluable network for its members and offering a platform for collaboration and growth in this dynamic sector.
