OCSEA

OCSEA is a labor organization founded in 1938 representing approximately 35,000 state and local government employees in Ohio. It covers a diverse range of occupations including blue-collar, professional, and security roles. Affiliated with American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), it is dedicated to ensuring fair compensation, dignity, and a safe working environment for its members. Operating as the sole bargaining representative for numerous public employees in Ohio, OCSEA aims to empower its members by providing skill development opportunities and access to attractive benefits. The organization's jurisdiction encompasses all non-university state employees, certified since January 1, 1996, by the State Employment Relations Board.
