NU-MED GRUPA is a prominent health care startup based in Poland, founded in 2013. It operates four modern oncological hospitals, treating nearly 10,000 patients annually with a staff of approximately 600 employees. The services provided comprise radiotherapy, chemotherapy, brachytherapy, and diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, PET-CT, Gamma Knife), along with oncology, hematology, and oncological surgery clinics, patient coordinators, and a team of skilled medical professionals equipped with high-quality specialized equipment. NU-MED GRUPA's first hospital was established in 2013 in Elbląg, closely collaborating with the Provincial Integrated Hospital, offering comprehensive treatment to patients. Subsequently, a center was opened in 2014 in Katowice and is affiliated with the University Clinical Center, serving as an educational support for the University of Silesia. The year 2015 witnessed the inauguration of the Tomaszów Mazowiecki hospital as an independent comprehensive oncological treatment facility, while 2016 marked the opening of the Zamość hospital in cooperation with the Specialist Provincial Hospital named after Jan Paweł II. Each center is staffed with qualified and experienced medical professionals and is equipped with state-of-the-art specialized equipment. NU-MED GRUPA introduced patient coordinators, ensuring personalized patient care throughout the treatment process. Moreover, the patients are accommodated in well-equipped rooms, and those who do not require in-hospital stays have access to hotel services and free transportation. Notably, all centers have contracts with the National Health Fund (NFZ). The latest investment in NU-MED GRUPA was made through a Private Equity Round by NU investment on March 21, 2013, with the investment led by Enterprise Investors. This investment signifies a significant milestone in the company's growth and further strengthens its position in the industry.
