NSW Taxi Council

The NSW Taxi Council is the peak body for the NSW Taxi Industry, representing taxi networks, owners, operators, and advocating for better outcomes for NSW taxi drivers. With a membership across Metropolitan Sydney, as well as Country and Regional NSW, it holds sway over a significant portion of the taxi industry in the region.

Comprising of more than 200 authorised taxi networks, over 5,000 taxi operators, and more than 30,000 authorised drivers, the NSW Taxi Industry sustains the livelihood of over 40,000 people and their families. With a focus on the logistics sector, the industry plays a vital role in the transportation and mobility of people within the state.
