NSICLTD is a Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that has been operating for over six decades since its establishment in 1955. It is focused on fostering the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in the country. The organization is ISO 9001-2008 certified and operates through a widespread network of offices and Technical Centres across India, including an office in Johannesburg, South Africa to manage operations in African countries. NSICLTD is dedicated to promoting modernization, upgradation of technology, quality consciousness, strengthening linkages with large medium enterprises, and enhancing exports of projects and products from small enterprises. The organization offers a range of services tailored to the needs of the MSME sector, including marketing support, credit support, technology support, and other support services, through a package of specially tailored schemes. With a strong focus on aiding small enterprises, NSICLTD's mission is to put them in a competitive and advantageous position. It provides a wide range of supports, alongside Training cum Incubation Centre and a large professional manpower to provide a comprehensive suite of services. Despite the lack of publicly disclosed recent investment, NSICLTD has established itself as a key player in fostering the growth and development of small industries and MSMEs in India and beyond.
