Northern Light Acadia Hospital is an innovative healthcare startup with a mission to serve as a hub for behavioral and mental health services in Maine. Established in 1983, the 100-bed acute care psychiatric hospital offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services for individuals across all age groups. Their services extend to individual, family, and group therapy, medication management, case management, intensive day treatment programs, electroconvulsive therapy, mood and memory care, observation unit, and a substance use disorder treatment program.

What sets Acadia Hospital apart is their commitment to community outreach through specialized programs such as Behavioral Health Home, Opioid Health Home, military veteran programming, Integrated Behavioral Health in primary care practices, and school-based clinician services.
