Norhard AS is a full-service provider for directional drilling and lining of penstocks for hydropower plants. Established in 2007, the company is based in Tonstad, Norway. The area, known for its expertise in hydropower, is home to the Tonstad Hydropower Plant with an impressive 1000 MW capacity. Norhard's innovative drilling technology is fully electric-operated, remotely controlled, and has integrated systems for navigation and steering, enabling drilling along predefined curves. These unique features make it an environmentally friendly and efficient solution for underground infrastructure projects. The company's latest €1.97M investment came from the EASME - EU Executive Agency for SMEs in a Venture Round in January 2017. With a total production capacity of about 250 GWh of clean renewable energy, Norhard has successfully implemented its solutions in numerous hydropower plants across Norway.
