NIBM Malaysia

NIBM Malaysia is a consortium of three national biotechnology institutes – Malaysian Institute of Pharmaceuticals & Nutraceuticals (IPHARM), Agro-Biotechnology Institute Malaysia (ABI), and Malaysia Genome Institute (MGI), established in 2012 as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG), an autonomous not-for-profit entity to administer IPHARM, ABI, and MGI. The organization's slogan "INNOVATION FOR THE NEW ECONOMY" reflects its commitment to driving forward biotechnology and AgriTech innovations in Malaysia.

Among NIBM's key roles are setting priorities and direction for R&D activities, planning for the commercialization of R&D outputs, and enhancing the R&D ecosystem to drive Malaysia into a global biotechnology hub.
