The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative (NewBoCo)

The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative (NewBoCo) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2014. With the slogan of "Making our state more resilient to a changing economy by supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and tech education," NewBoCo aims to accelerate world-changing ideas, specifically in the education and enterprise sectors within Iowa. The organization has a multifaceted approach, which includes the Iowa Startup Accelerator program, fostering technical and creative talent through innovative educational programs for kids and adults, assisting innovative companies in developing new products and attracting top talent through corporate innovation programs, and emphasizing social impact. NewBoCo has made significant strides since its inception, with its last investment being a $40.00K grant investment received on 18 September 2024, from the Wells Fargo Foundation.
