Founded in 2002, the New Jersey Environmental Justice Alliance (NJEJA) is a coalition dedicated to fostering equitable and healthy communities in New Jersey. With a focus on identifying and addressing environmental injustices in marginalized communities, NJEJA collaborates with local organizations and individuals to advocate for policy changes, provide education and training, and offer technical assistance. Recently, the organization received a $700.00K grant investment from NJEDA on 22 June 2023. Through its commitment to environmental justice, NJEJA is positioned to make a significant impact on promoting just and sustainable neighborhoods.
