Nelson City Council

Nelson City Council is one of only six Unitary Authorities in the country. It provides both territorial and regional services for Nelson City. Details can be found: http://nelson.govt.nz/council/council-structure/unitary-authority/ Nelson City covers a land area of 422km2 from Champion Road, Stoke in the southwest, where it has a boundary with Richmond in Tasman District, to the Bryant Range in the east, and Cape Soucis (Raetihi) in the north.
