National Park Foundation

The National Park Foundation is the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service. Since its establishment in 1967, the foundation has been dedicated to protecting wildlife and park lands, preserving history and culture, educating and engaging youth, and connecting people to the wonder of parks. This is achieved through collaboration with the National Park Service, the park partner community, and with the generous support of donors.

Notably, the foundation secured a grant investment from Expedia on 28 November 2023, reinforcing its mission to safeguard national parks and foster connections with them. With its headquarters in the United States, the National Park Foundation exemplifies the significance of public-private partnerships in conservation, education, and community engagement.
