National Maritime Law Enforcement Academy (NMLEA), founded in 2000, is a non-profit membership-driven organization dedicated to providing education and training for law enforcement personnel, emergency responders, and public safety professionals operating on or near the maritime environment. Led by Admiral Siler, a former U.S. Coast Guard Commandant, NMLEA aims to fill the capabilities gap affecting law enforcement and emergency response operations on water bodies across America.
