National Cyber League

The National Cyber League (NCL) provides a real-world simulation for students to develop, practice, and validate their cybersecurity knowledge and skills. NCL is a defensive and offensive puzzle-based, capture-the-flag style cybersecurity competition designed to prepare high school and college students for cybersecurity challenges in the workforce. Participants play simultaneous games during Preseason, Individual Game, and Team Game, with challenges based on CompTIA Security+™ and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)™ exam objectives. NCL caters to players of all levels, offering opportunities for students to excel in different areas. High school students benefit from an early jump-start in cybersecurity skills, preparing for further education or the workplace, while collegiate students gain practical, workplace-relevant experience, aiding in their preparation for career entry and other competitions.
