Napoli Salerno Airports Gesac is the official account of the management company of Napoli and Salerno Airports. Founded in 1980, GE.S.A.C. S.p.A. is responsible for the total management concession of both airports until 2045. Achieving a milestone of 12,394,911 passengers in 2023, Napoli Airport had its best year ever, showing a notable 13.5% increase from 2022. Notably, the international traffic accounted for 8.3 million passengers. At its peak, Napoli Airport offered direct flights to 113 destinations in 34 countries, including major European hubs and two intercontinental destinations. Emphasizing sustainable development, GESAC has promoted the use of next-generation aircraft with lower environmental impact. This focus on sustainability led to Napoli Airport achieving the highest environmental certification for airports, the level 4+ Transition of the Airport Carbon Accreditation program by ACI Europe in December 2022. Furthermore, Gesac is advancing investments in Salerno-Costa d’Amalfi Airport, which is set to be operational from July 11, 2024, and at full capacity by 2026/2027.
