Molecor South East Asia is a company that was established in 2013 with the aim to manufacture and distribute eco-friendly TOM® brand Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-O) pipes in South East Asia, with its headquarters located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Majority owned by Molecor Tecnología S.L. (75%) and Sanlens Sdn Bhd (25%), the company is a pioneer in applying molecular orientation using pressurized hot air to pipeline solutions, resulting in superior mechanical properties. The proprietary technology developed and patented by Molecor Tecnología S.L., the Genuine Air System, enables the production of PVC-O pipes with higher impact resistance and a lifespan of up to 100 years—a significant advancement compared to the 30-year lifespan of conventional solutions. This technology has been successfully deployed in various countries including Australia, Italy, India, Spain, South Africa, and Ecuador. With its first manufacturing plant strategically situated in Kuantan, Malaysia, in close proximity to the Kuantan Port, Molecor South East Asia is strategically positioned for better logistical connectivity both locally and regionally.
