MMAC is the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, founded in 1861, with a vision to create a globally competitive region that fosters high-value employment for a vibrant quality of life. It represents nearly 2,000 member businesses with over 300,000 employees in Metro Milwaukee and beyond, including small businesses and Fortune 500 & Forbes 1000 members. The organization actively engages in impactful regional projects such as Fiserv Forum, The Avenue, and American Family Field.

Chamber membership offers access to various programs and perks, focusing on talent development, equity, growth, and livability. MMAC is committed to building the region’s talent pipeline, promoting workforce programming, and advocating for a diverse workforce. It actively competes to attract business investment and talent through the Milwaukee 7 (M7) Partnership for Economic Development.

MMAC's Region of Choice initiative aims to expand the number of Black and Hispanic employees and managers in Milwaukee-area companies. More than 120 employers, representing over 119,000 employees, have pledged to increase their overall Black and Hispanic workforce representation. Additionally, the organization advocates for transformational projects enhancing the region's quality of life and seeks public policy solutions for long-term prosperity.
