MJMK Restaurants

MJMK Restaurants is a collection of award-winning London restaurants that was founded in 2017 by Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes. Their passion for food and drink led them to bring exceptional cooking to the London market by collaborating with talented chefs. The company's concepts are either inspired by the founders' heritage or by the chef partners they work with. In 2018, the first Casa do Frango was launched in London Bridge, followed by another branch in Shoreditch in 2019, Piccadilly on Heddon Street in 2022, and Victoria in summer 2023. These restaurants celebrate the spirit of Southern Portugal and have gained critical acclaim. Additionally, they operate the KOL restaurant in Marylebone in partnership with Mexican Chef Santiago Lastra, which has been internationally recognized as one of London’s best restaurants. KOL was awarded a Michelin Star in February 2022 and retained it in 2023, also ranking at no. 23 in the World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2023. In March 2022, Lisboeta was opened on Charlotte Street in partnership with globally renowned Portuguese Chef, Nuno Mendes. Lisboeta is Nuno's love letter to Lisbon and was awarded One to Watch at the National Restaurant Awards 2022 and features in the Michelin Guide. MJMK has recently secured a £2.57M Equity Crowdfunding investment from Crowdcube on 11th May 2023. The company's focus on exceptional culinary experiences and partnerships with acclaimed chefs positions it as an exciting player in the food and hospitality industries.
