Mission Aviation Fellowship
Founded in 1945, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) has been serving to bring help, hope, and healing to isolated communities, aiming to bring about positive change through the teachings of Jesus. Recognizing the potential of aviation, MAF was established by a group of WWII pilots with a vision to utilize air travel for the propagation of the Gospel.
Over the years, MAF has become an integral partner to about 500 Christian organizations, humanitarian agencies, and various entities. They facilitate and enhance evangelism, medical aid, disaster response, community development, as well as the training and empowerment of local communities. Operating a fleet of 47 light aircraft, MAF serves 42 countries across Asia, Africa, Eurasia, and Latin America, addressing both the physical and spiritual needs of isolated populations.
The dedication of missionary families, who raise their own ministry support, allows MAF to effectively serve as the embodiment of Christ's compassion to those in need. Although no specific information regarding recent investments or industry focus is available, MAF's enduring commitment to humanitarian efforts and religious outreach underlines its impactful presence in the global community. With a compelling history and a clear mission, Mission Aviation Fellowship continues to play a crucial role in providing essential assistance and spiritual guidance to isolated regions worldwide.
