Midwest Floor Coverings, Inc. was established in 1938 in Salt Lake City by Morris Parrish, Lance Graham, and Ben Novikoff. Initially focused on carpet distribution, the company expanded to offer premier brands like Gulistan Carpet, Mohawk, and General Felt Products in response to increasing demand. Under Morris Parrish's leadership, strategic investments were made, including land acquisition at Wagner Park in 1965, paving the way for a large warehouse and office complex. Following this, John Parrish took over in 1969, emphasizing diversification and partnerships with industry leaders such as Wilsonart International and Mannington Mills. In 2003, Eric Parrish became president, guiding the company into cabinet manufacturing and introducing new product lines. Today, Midwest remains headquartered in Salt Lake City, with over 86 years of experience and a workforce of over 130 employees, serving customers across six states. This enduring commitment to excellence and innovation has solidified Midwest's position as a leader in the industrial, manufacturing, and supply chain industries.
