Their mission is to create a platform that makes it easy to deploy and run AI workloads on edge devices, leveraging AI accelerators. Additionally, the company aims to run complex distributed workloads on a cluster of IoT devices, the fog/MEC, and cloud, all managed by a SaaS platform. In June 2016, Midokura raised a significant $20.40M Series B investment, with participation from INCJ and Allen Miner. With a strong foothold in Japan and a focus on empowering IoT with AI capabilities, Midokura is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for edge computing and AI solutions in the IoT industry.
