MIDEL & MIVOLT Fluids Ltd. is a portfolio company and part of the Shell Group. Based in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, UK, the company was formed in 2023 from the acquisition of the MIDEL and MIVOLT ester fluid businesses from their former owner, M&I Materials Ltd. As part of Shell’s global lubricants portfolio, MIDEL and MIVOLT products complements Shell’s differentiated position in Transformer Oils used for power distribution, offshore wind parks, utilities and traction power systems; and immersion cooling liquids used in EV battery systems, battery energy storage and data centres respectively.
