MEAC sponsors 14 Division I (FCS) sports, including women’s bowling, basketball, cross country, football, tennis, track & field, softball, and volleyball. It holds automatic NCAA qualification bids in seven sports and hosts the Cricket Celebration Bowl for football. The conference's emphasis on academic achievement is evident through its student-athletes' recognition on ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-America and All-District teams, along with its All-Academic teams in each sport. It also awards two annual post-graduate scholarships of $5,000 each to qualifying student-athletes.
The MEAC, with its focus on diversity and excellence, makes for an intriguing investment opportunity. The dynamic combination of sports and academia, along with the rich history and potential for growth, positions the MEAC as an attractive venture for potential investors looking to support the advancement of higher education and athletics.
