Melvano

Melvano is an Indian EdTech startup founded in 2018 by Taran Singh, an IIT Madras alumnus. The company has gained significant traction, with over two lakh students from across India. Recognized for its innovation, Melvano was honored with the Sri Chinmay Deodhar award by IIT Madras. The platform caters to high schoolers and undergraduates, offering preparatory tools such as Foundation courses, Crash courses, Test series, and Personal mentoring, tailored to accommodate each student's unique learning style. One notable feature is the provision of personal mentors for every user, guiding and monitoring their progress throughout the course. Its impact is evident as over 10 Melvano students achieved exceptional scores, with several scoring 99 percentile and above in JEE Mains 2021. Notably, Deepak Nanda emerged as the topper, securing 99.891 percentile, reflecting the efficacy of Melvano's approach in exam preparation. In response to the pandemic's challenges, Taran Singh announced a commendable initiative, offering a 100 percent waiver program for JEE and NEET aspirantsINR13.00M in a Venture Round led by Tyke on 16 February 2023. This investment reflects the confidence of investors in the company's potential to further revolutionize the education sector.
