Maryland Bankers Association is the leading advocate, trusted partner, and exceptional resource for Maryland banks and bankers. Founded in 1896, it serves as a dynamic, proactive, and resourceful advocate, promoting the strength and success of Maryland banks and bankers.
As the only Maryland-based trade group representing banks and thrifts in the state, Maryland Bankers Association (MBA) encompasses member banks that employ over 40,000 banking professionals and hold 99% of the FDIC insured deposits in Maryland through nearly 1,700 branch offices. It fulfills its mission through advocacy at all levels of government, public relations representation for the industry, providing professional education to members, and promoting financial education to the community.
