It offers a weekly rented diaper and laundering service, allowing parents to spread out the high upfront cost of about USD $400 for 20 modern cloth diapers and accessories over three years. With its slogan "Modern - Easy to Use - Eco Friendly," MamaToto targets all income levels and emphasizes improved sanitation, health outcomes, and environmental sustainability.

Kenyan parents are drawn to using cloth diapers due to their benefits for baby comfort, environmental impact, and cost-effectiveness. However, access to modern cloth diapers and hygienic laundering facilities has been limited in Nairobi. MamaToto addresses these challenges by providing modern cloth diapers with an updated design that reduces leakage and uses a custom breathable waterproof fabric. Furthermore, the company partners with the Nairobi Hospital to access an industrial washer for 100% sanitization.
