Makwa Global is a Tribal Enterprise (TE) owned by the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, a business savvy Tribe nestled on Mille Lacs Lake in Minnesota. The Mille Lacs Band of has over 30 businesses worldwide, 5000 employees, serving industries for over 35 years. Makwa Global was formed to represent the Tribe, offering a new approach to Tribal Enterprise capabilities for governments and corporate partners. Led by a Mille Lacs Band descendent, Makwa’s Leadership Team has over 75 years of combined experience in government contracting. Makwa subsidiaries are SBA 8(a) certified Tribal Enterprises, and have a diverse set of capabilities and experience across seven service areas including: security and training, IT and cybersecurity, professional services and staffing, logistics and procurement, travel, construction and facility support and communications.
