Madrid Emprende

Madrid Emprende is a comprehensive support service for entrepreneurs provided by the Madrid City Council. Established in 2005, it has evolved from an agency to a directorate general, encompassing support for entrepreneurship, technological innovation, small and medium-sized enterprises, and individuals embarking on entrepreneurial ventures. In collaboration with various entities, including public administrations, universities, large corporations, business schools, and civil society organizations, Madrid Emprende offers holistic support covering all aspects of launching and growing a business.

The Dirección General de Comercio y Emprendimiento serves as the governing body through which the City Council of Madrid fosters entrepreneurial and SME activities in the economic capital of Spain. Madrid Emprende primarily focuses on supporting entrepreneurs, SMEs, foreign investment, industry, retailing, smart city projects, and venture capital.
