Local Government Information Systems (LOGIS) is a Minnesota-based intergovernmental consortium dedicated to providing innovative public sector technology solutions. Founded in 1972 by seven cities, LOGIS has since grown to include 73 member organizations and serves over 2.1 million residents throughout Minnesota. The consortium is governed by its members, with a Board of Directors that includes one representative from each participating agency. All financial decisions are made by the members through an annual budget, a work plan, and actions taken by an Executive Committee. LOGIS' collaborative approach allows for the sharing of ideas, risks, and resources among its members, ultimately empowering Minnesota communities through information technology solutions.
