LiveSchool is an EdTech startup based in Nashville, Tennessee, founded in 2011. The platform was born out of CEO Matt Rubinstein's experience as a middle school teacher, where he identified the need for a digital solution to the manual and frustrating process of managing student behavior tracking.
In April 2018, LiveSchool secured a Seed Round investment from Launch Tennessee, marking an important milestone for the company. With a focus on fostering a positive culture and tracking behavior trends, LiveSchool has quickly expanded its reach, with over 1,000 schools on board. A particularly notable aspect of the company is its team, which comprises 12 former educators out of the 22 full-time employees
