The Ligue Handisport Francophone (LHF) is a recognized sports federation by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles for individuals with physical, intellectual, or sensory disabilities. Founded in 1977, its mission is to enable everyone to participate in sports, from recreational to elite levels.
LHF unites nearly 200 clubs in Wallonia and Brussels, offering over 30 different sports including blind football, wheelchair tennis, athletics, skiing, swimming, triathlon, and basketball. In addition to promoting inclusive sports, LHF supports around 50 high-level athletes who compete in the Paralympic Games, World Championships, and other international events.
As a member of the Belgian Paralympic Committee, LHF contributes to the development of the Paralympic Team Belgium.
