Launch Pad Job Club

Launch Pad Job Club is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 with the slogan of "Supporting job seekers in their quest to find The Perfect Job." This networking and support platform aims to aid job seekers in their search for employment through its free weekly meetings and satellite classes, offering job search information, motivation, programs, speakers, networking opportunities, and door prizes. Led by the highly-experienced career coach Kathy Lansford-Powell, the organization has been a valuable resource for over 40 years, previously with Texas Workforce Solutions and currently with Austin Community College. Although the club meets virtually over Zoom during the pandemic, it anticipates a return to its sponsored location at the Goodwill Career and Technical Academy in the United States. With its commitment to supporting job seekers, the Launch Pad Job Club provides a crucial service, especially during challenging economic times, and stands as a valuable resource for those navigating the job market.
