Lactation Lab is a company that provides food labels for breast milk. Founded in 2017 by a doctor and mother-of-two, the company offers analysis of breast milk for nutritional content, including calories, protein, vitamins, fatty acids, and environmental toxins. The results are presented in a user-friendly report resembling a food label. Lactation Lab also provides insights, resources, and support to empower mothers through knowledge and scientific research. The company received a grant investment on 17 March 2022 from the Consortium For Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics. With a focus on Health Care and Nutrition industries, Lactation Lab aims to reduce the stress associated with breastfeeding by enabling mothers to make informed decisions about their milk quality, ultimately empowering them to breastfeed longer and with more confidence.
