Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Design (AiDLab) is the first research platform focusing on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with design. Established by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the Royal College of Art (RCA) in the UK, AiDLab is funded by the HKSAR Government under the InnoHK Research Clusters. Aiming to drive innovation and sustainability, AiDLab is located at the Hong Kong Science Park and has created a new creative cluster of AI in design, positioning itself as a leader in interdisciplinary research. Its three thematic programmes center around Ergonomic and Inclusive Design, Innovation in Product and Service Design, and Intelligent Fashion Design and Quality Control. As of 2020, AiDLab operates in the Analytics and Big Data industries from its headquarters in Hong Kong S.a.r. Currently, there is no publicly disclosed information available on the latest investment or the participating investors.
