KLE Society

KLE Society is a prominent educational organization that has been transforming lives through education, healthcare, and research since its establishment in 1916. Under the leadership of Dr. Prabhakar Kore, the society has grown to include 250+ institutions with over 1,25,000 students and 16,000 employees. The society's offerings span from pre-school to post-doctoral courses across various disciplines. Notably, KLE University for Health Sciences has garnered significant recognition and accolades, including an "A" level accreditation by NAAC, a grade "A" by UGC, and collaborations with international research agencies. The society boasts an extensive healthcare network, with Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC, Charitable Hospital, Cancer Hospital, and ICU at Chikodi providing a combined healthcare capacity of over 4000 beds, including 1700 free beds. Moreover, KLE's influence extends globally through partnerships such as the collaboration with University Sains Malaysia (USM) to operate an International Medical School at Belagavi. In addition, KLE's commitment to research is evident through its establishment of a Basic Science Research Centre and its significant contributions to agricultural research through the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) & the School of Agriculture.
