The Kenya Wildlife Conservancies Association (KWCA) is a national landowner-led membership organization, established in 2013 with a mission to serve the interests and collective voice of over 175 community and private conservancies. KWCA advocates for the right policies, laws, and incentives to create an enabling environment for conservancies to thrive. It supports them through information sharing and capacity building, acknowledging conservancies as a strong mechanism for promoting wildlife stewardship and custodianship by local communities and landowners that share the land with wildlife. The last investment in KWCA was a grant investment at 01 July 2021 from LGT Venture Philanthropy, aligning with the organization's dedication to sustainable conservation efforts. As a venture capital investor, the potential for impact and positive change in local ecosystems make KWCA an interesting prospect for further investment and support.
