Keep Austin Beautiful

Keep Austin Beautiful is a non-profit organization founded in 1985, dedicated to inspiring and educating Austinites to come together and enhance their surroundings by beautifying green spaces, cleaning waterways, and reducing waste. The organization envisions Austin as the cleanest and most beautiful community. Their values revolve around the belief that all Austinites have the right to clean, safe, and beautiful green spaces, and that everyone shares the responsibility of maintaining these spaces and waterways on a daily basis. Keep Austin Beautiful also aims to connect individuals with nature and each other through volunteer activities, support various community groups, businesses, and neighborhoods through leadership training and tools, and instill a sense of environmental responsibility in children and teens. By educating people on the impact of their actions on the environment, they aim to reduce waste and overall create a better quality of life for the community.
