Kausal

Kausal is a Finland-based IT startup founded in 2020, with a mission to "Turn climate goals into actions". The company offers an open source solution for cities, regions, and governments to manage their climate actions and impacts. Kausal's platform provides a full suite of climate management tools that streamline data collection and climate budgeting processes, and enables real-time information browsing on a public dashboard. It also calculates and visualizes the inventories and future impacts to help cities frame the discourse around their climate work.

Kausal has received a €880.00K Seed Round investment from Zubi Capital and Innovestor at 31 October 2023. The company works directly with cities and actively partners with research organizations, consultancies, civil society organizations, and other like-minded climate enthusiasts who believe there is no time to waste. Operating across three continents and 10 countries, Kausal has positioned itself as a key player in supporting authorities to better manage their climate actions and impacts.
