Invest_MKD is the governmental managing body responsible for developing and supervising free zones throughout Macedonia. Established in 2002, the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones is tasked with managing the Technological-Industrial Development Zones in the Republic of North Macedonia. With a vision to transform Macedonia into an international business center of Southeast Europe, it offers world-class infrastructure, 100% foreign property, 0% taxes and customs, and exemption from utility fees. Additionally, it provides a service center in each zone and direct state assistance of up to 1,000,000 euros. The Directorate for TIDZs aims to provide an individualized approach and a symbolic price for land lease, making it a highly competitive investment destination.
