International Water Association

The International Water Association (IWA) is a global organization with a focus on building a water-wise world. With a network comprising around 10,000 members and over 500 companies worldwide, IWA collaborates to spread practical knowledge across the entire water cycle, aiming to reduce, reuse, and replenish water resources. Drawing on a heritage of over 75 years, IWA is a recognized global reference point for water professionals working in all aspects of the water cycle. In 1999, the association was formed through the merger of the International Water Services Association and the International Association of Water Quality, bridging the science and practice of water management. Today, IWA continues to thrive as a global organization committed to delivering on its original vision, inspiring change in the renewable energy sector.
