Institute of Community Service, Inc.

Institute of Community Service, Inc., established in 1966, is a private nonprofit organization based in Holly Springs, Mississippi, serving children and families in Northwest Mississippi. The organization operates 20 centers in 13 counties and has more than 800 employees. ICS provides comprehensive child-development services through its NAEYC accredited Head Start centers, permanent structures, and partnerships with local school systems and childcare facilities.

ICS's services include Head Start with blended services in public elementary schools, and services with child care centers. The organization adopts a team approach to management, with four teams at the central office level focusing on family and community partnership, early childhood development and education services, field services, and program management and design.
