Institute for Urban Indigenous Health

Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is dedicated to providing comprehensive primary health care services to the Indigenous population of South East Queensland (SEQ). Established in 2009 by four Community Controlled Health Services in SEQ, IUIH aims to cater to the needs of Australia's second-largest Indigenous population. The organization operates under the IUIH Model of Care to empower local communities to take charge of health service delivery to Indigenous Australians. Its network includes the founding member organizations - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service (ATSICHS) Brisbane Limited, Kalwun Development Corporation Limited (Kalwun Health Service), Yulu-Burri-Ba Aboriginal Corporation for Community Health, Moreton Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service (MATSICHS), and Goodna Clinic.
