INSME - The International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises

INSME - The International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises is a non-profit Association with the slogan "Making innovation happen in SMEs". Founded in 2004, INSME aims to foster transnational cooperation and public and private partnerships among economic players and intermediaries worldwide to bridge the innovation and knowledge gap for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Since 2004, INSME has gained moral sponsorship from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and has also been designated as an NGO in Special Consultative Status within the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations and within the UNIDO Industrial Development Board. Additionally, it has been granted a "sectorial dialogue partner" status by the Organisation of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC). INSME's focus on fostering global partnerships and bridging the innovation and knowledge gap for SMEs makes it an organization with significant potential for impact in the small and medium enterprise space.
