InjureFree

InjureFree is a technology service that empowers athlete safety initiatives and risk management for organized sports. It is a product of the @Agency for Student Health Research and was created in response to the rising concern for athlete safety and the long-term effects of concussions. The web-based injury reporting platform is HIPAA and FERPA compliant and has a mobile app reporting platform that is now collecting injury reports across the world. InjureFree is designed to be a solution for organizations working to improve athlete care and provides stakeholders and caregivers a tool for the future. It is in use at the youth sports, high school, college, and pro levels, providing a secure line of communication and creating a virtual “connected care eco-system” between all caregivers. The collected data is being used by administrators to improve health outcomes within their populations and collectively throughout the world. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in the United States, InjureFree received a $447.82K Venture Round investment on 18th July 2016. Although the specific investors for the last investment round are not disclosed, the company operates in the industries of Big Data, EdTech, Education, Health Care, and Information Technology.
